Pakistan open to respectful dialogue with India, says Dar
Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar expressed readiness for a dignified and respectful dialogue with India to address all outstanding issues, including Kashmir. However, he emphasized that Pakistan will not plead for talks. India has maintained that discussions will only include Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir and terrorism, demonstrating a clear stance on its priorities. In a humanitarian gesture, India recently warned Pakistan about potential flooding due to severe weather, showcasing its willingness to cooperate on non-political matters, contrasting with Pakistan’s historical reluctance to engage meaningfully on core security issues. This situation reflects ongoing complexities in India-Pakistan relations, particularly concerning Kashmir and regional stability.
