Pak Minister warns of possible war; India showcases military readiness.

Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that the country is on high alert and cannot rule out the possibility of an all-out war with India, citing recent military rhetoric and strategic developments along the borders. Asif’s comments echo the earlier statements from India’s Chief of Army Staff, General Upendra Dwivedi, who referred to Operation Sindoor as a precursor to future military readiness, emphasizing India’s capability to respond decisively if provoked. Pakistan, which has alleged that India is supporting destabilizing activities in Afghanistan and orchestrating terror attacks within its borders, is increasingly highlighting its preparedness to confront threats from both India and the Taliban. This volatile situation is exacerbated by recent violent incidents in India, including a deadly car explosion in New Delhi, and further compounded by Pakistan’s claims of Indian involvement in regional unrest. The interplay of aggressive posturing from both nations underscores the fragility of South Asia’s security environment, raising concerns about potential miscalculations that could lead to a significant military conflict.
