Nordic and Baltic nations fund $500M US arms for Ukraine.

On November 13, 2025, Nordic and Baltic nations, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, jointly announced a $500 million funding package for US arms to support Ukraine amid escalating Russian aggression. Norway is contributing the largest share at $200 million, while Sweden and Denmark are providing $60 million and $53 million, respectively. This initiative, part of NATO’s Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List, aims to enhance Ukraine’s air defense capabilities during critical winter months, reflecting a unified commitment to regional security and stability. The funding underscores the strategic importance of supporting Ukraine in maintaining a rules-based international order against threats from Russia.
