The Indo-Pacific Regional Dialogue 2025 concluded in New Delhi, featuring participation from experts and officials across over thirty countries. The dialogue emphasized “Promoting Holistic Maritime Security and Growth,” addressing issues like the Blue Economy and the protection of underwater infrastructure, with India positioned as a facilitator in regional cooperation and economic corridors. Sanjeev Sanyal, Member of the Economic Advisory Council, underscored the government’s initiatives in revitalizing the maritime sector, including support for historical maritime projects. Discussions highlighted the importance of Pacific Island countries and the need for enhanced collaboration among regional frameworks like IORA and IONS, reinforcing India’s role in shaping maritime security in the Indo-Pacific. The successful dialogue underscores India’s commitment to multilateral cooperation and strategic partnerships in a complex maritime landscape.
