Indian and Tanzanian navies enhance maritime security through talks.

Indian Navy and Tanzania People’s Defence Force officials concluded their inaugural staff talks in Dar es Salaam, focusing on enhancing bilateral maritime engagements and promoting coordinated maritime security. The discussions, co-chaired by Rear Admiral Srinivas Maddula and Commodore FJ Mwasikolile, aim to advance ongoing cooperation between the two nations. Concurrently, the Indian Naval Ship (INS) Sahyadri participated in the sea phase of Exercise Malabar 2025, conducting various operations such as Anti-Submarine Warfare and cross-deck helicopter operations. These developments underscore India’s commitment to strengthening maritime partnerships and enhancing regional security in the Indo-Pacific.
