India to elevate Kabul mission to embassy, deepen ties with Taliban.

India is set to elevate its Technical Mission in Kabul to the status of an embassy, as announced by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, reflecting India’s commitment to Afghanistan’s sovereignty and development. During his meeting with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, Jaishankar emphasized India’s ongoing support through various developmental projects, including healthcare initiatives and housing for Afghan refugees.
