India-Israel Joint Working Group meeting boosts defense cooperation in Tel Aviv.

The 17th meeting of the India-Israel Joint Working Group on defence cooperation was held in Tel Aviv on November 4, 2025, co-chaired by Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh and Israeli Ministry of Defence’s Maj Gen (Res) Amir Baram. During this meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to enhance strategic dialogues, training, and defence industrial collaboration, focusing on areas such as Science & Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security. This MoU aims to facilitate the sharing of advanced technologies and promote co-development initiatives, reinforcing the nations’ longstanding partnership rooted in mutual trust and shared security interests. This development underscores the importance of India-Israel cooperation in addressing common threats, including terrorism, and signifies a commitment to strengthening their defence capabilities in an evolving geopolitical landscape.
