India condemns Pakistan's Pahalgam attack, highlighting its human rights violations.

India has firmly condemned Pakistan’s actions regarding the Pahalgam attack, asserting that Islamabad’s history of cross-border terrorism renders it the worst violator of human rights. During a UN session, Indian representative Raghoo Puri highlighted the lingering global memory of the April 2025 attack that claimed 26 lives and accused Pakistan of using terrorism as state policy. He defended India’s Operation Sindoor, emphasizing its measured approach to counter terrorism while criticizing Pakistan for targeting civilians. Puri called for Pakistan to reflect on its own human rights record, reminding the international community of its ethnic and religious persecution practices. This exchange underscores the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, particularly regarding terrorism and human rights issues, as both nations vie for international support.
