India and Fiji enhance maritime security ties during INS Kadmatt visit.

India and Fiji have engaged in discussions on maritime security collaboration as the Indian Navy’s INS Kadmatt made a goodwill visit to Suva. The visit focused on enhancing capacity development and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) efforts. INS Kadmatt also recently completed a port call in Indonesia, strengthening ties and interoperability between the Indian and Indonesian navies through professional exchanges and community outreach events. This series of engagements underscores India’s commitment to being a trusted security partner in the region, promoting maritime stability and fostering deeper bilateral relationships through shared values and cooperative initiatives.
