EU negotiators in New Delhi to advance India-EU Free Trade Agreement discussions.

EU negotiators are in New Delhi from November 3 to 7 to advance the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA), aiming to resolve key differences and build a balanced framework. This follows productive discussions between Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic in Brussels. The meetings will address crucial topics such as trade in goods and services and institutional mechanisms, guided by a shared objective to create a modern and resilient FTA. The commitment from both sides underscores the anticipation that the agreement will enhance bilateral trade, attract investments, and foster technological collaboration, ultimately contributing to sustainable economic growth. This initiative highlights the growing importance of India-EU relations in a rapidly changing global trade environment.
