Australia joins India, Japan, and US in Exercise Malabar 2025 for strengthened Indo-Pacific security.
Australia has joined India, Japan, and the United States in Exercise Malabar 2025, a vital Indo-Pacific maritime exercise designed to enhance regional security and interoperability. Scheduled from November 10 to 18, the exercise features the Royal Australian Navy’s HMAS Ballarat and a Royal Australian Air Force P-8A Poseidon. India’s participation, represented by the indigenously built INS Sahyadri, underscores its commitment to strengthening partnerships and collective defense efforts. The exercise focuses on complex drills in anti-submarine warfare, air defense, and joint fleet operations, reinforcing the collective resolve of partner nations to combat evolving security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region. This collaboration is critical for countering coercive actions and ensuring a stable maritime environment.
