Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has underscored the improving dynamics between India and China, emphasizing leadership engagements aimed at resolving border tensions along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He reported over 1,100 military interactions have eased friction, promoting a view of both nations as development partners. Additionally, Gen. Dwivedi highlighted India’s military preparedness, referencing Operation Sindoora as a demonstration of decisive capabilities against terrorism, while also noting a significant decline in violence in Jammu & Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370. In Manipur, following the imposition of President’s Rule, efforts to restore order signal the government’s commitment to addressing internal conflicts, reflecting broader stability and strategic military readiness in the region.
