CDS Unveils Joint Doctrines for Special Forces and Airborne Ops
Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan has released two crucial doctrinal publications—Joint Doctrine for Special Forces Operations and Joint Doctrine for Airborne & Heliborne Operations—during the RAN SAMWAD Tri-Service Seminar at the Army War College. These doctrines, developed with inputs from all three services, aim to enhance inter-Service cooperation and operational readiness in modern warfare. General Chauhan praised the Armed Forces for their professionalism and adaptability, asserting that these guidelines will serve as key references for military planners and operators. This initiative underscores India’s commitment to evolving military strategies and bolstering joint operational capabilities among its defense forces.
