Zen Technologies Ltd has secured a significant order worth approximately 37 crore from the Indian Ministry of Defence for the supply of advanced anti-drone systems featuring hard kill capabilities. This contract aims to enhance India’s defense capabilities against aerial threats, reflecting the government’s commitment to bolstering indigenous defense solutions. While the company reported a decline in revenue and profitability in recent quarters, Chairman Ashok Atluri emphasized this setback as a temporary phase, maintaining a positive long-term growth outlook. The order contributes to Zen Technologies’ growing order book, which now totals 754 crore, reinforcing the importance of domestic defense manufacturers in India’s strategic landscape. Such developments not only strengthen national security but also foster self-reliance in defense technology.
