Zen Technologies Bags ₹289 Crore Defence Ministry Order for Advanced Anti-Drone System Upgrades

Zen Technologies Limited has secured two contracts worth ₹289 crore from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, announced at the end of October 2025. These contracts are for the upgradation of advanced indigenous Anti-Drone Systems with Hard Kill capabilities, aimed at enhancing the detection, tracking, and neutralization of hostile drones through advanced sensor fusion, electronic warfare, and kinetic response technologies. The systems are critical for safeguarding borders and critical infrastructure amid increasing aerial threats. The contracts are domestically procured under the Make in India initiative and are to be executed within 12 months. This order builds on a prior ₹37 crore contract received earlier in October 2025, underscoring Zen’s leadership in counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) and India’s commitment to defense modernization and self-reliance.
