Tiwari highlighted the potential for India to become a global defense manufacturing hub, supporting the principle of ‘aatmanirbharta’ by reducing reliance on imports. He also noted the significance of collaboration between the IAF, industry, and academia to foster innovation and address the evolving needs of the armed forces, underscoring the imperative for self-sufficiency in defense production.
