Ukraine’s Skyeton Showcases Drones at Taiwan Defense Expo
Ukraine’s drone manufacturer Skyeton showcased its war-tested drones at the Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE) 2025, held from September 18 to 20 in Taiwan. These drones, which have collectively logged over 350,000 flight hours on the Ukrainian battlefield, demonstrate advanced capabilities including long endurance flights exceeding 28 hours and multi-sensor configurations for reconnaissance. The display of Ukrainian drone technology at the expo underscores the growing cooperation in drone warfare innovation within the Indo-Pacific amid rising geopolitical tensions. Taiwan aims to bolster its defense through such cutting-edge unmanned systems as part of its broader modernization strategy. This also reflects a global trend, including India’s focus on indigenous defense technologies, to strengthen military capabilities against emerging threats.
