Turkey has officially received the TCG Hızırreis, its second Reis-class submarine, bolstering its naval capabilities under the New Type Submarine Project. This 68-meter long submarine, equipped with advanced air-independent propulsion systems and low acoustic signatures, enhances Turkey’s strategic presence in the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean.
