The THeMIS Combat unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), developed by Milrem Robotics, is nearing the completion of trials with the Royal Thai Army, reflecting Thailand’s commitment to modernizing its defense capabilities. The trials, in collaboration with the Thai Defence Technology Institute, showcase the UGV’s advanced features, including a modular payload with a 30mm automatic cannon, enhancing its operational effectiveness as a fire support platform. This initiative aligns with Thailand’s strategic goal to boost indigenous robotic technology capacities through local collaborations, positioning the country as a leader in unmanned combat systems within the ASEAN region.
