Taiwan to unveil advanced military technology at defense expo
The Taipei Aerospace and Defense Technology Exhibition (TADTE) is set to take place from September 18 to 20, showcasing Taiwan’s largest defense industry event with 490 exhibitors from 14 countries. The exhibition will highlight new military technologies such as the M1A2T Abrams tanks and HIMARS rocket launchers, alongside domestically produced innovations like the D3 armored vehicle and new drone models. The theme emphasizes integrating traditional military systems with unmanned technologies, reflecting Taiwan’s commitment to modernizing its defense capabilities. This event underscores the increasing focus on defense preparedness amidst regional tensions, which could also serve as a catalyst for India to enhance its own defense innovation and collaboration in the Indo-Pacific.
