T-Works to Develop Indigenous Fighter Jet Simulators, Reducing Imports
T-Works is set to develop indigenous fighter jet simulators, significantly reducing India’s reliance on costly foreign imports from the US and Europe. These next-generation simulators will enhance pilot training and mission rehearsal capabilities for the Indian Air Force by incorporating augmented reality, virtual reality, and AI-based enemy modeling. This initiative aligns with the Atmanirbhar Bharat program and aims to establish India as a global hub for defense simulation exports. By creating these systems domestically, India not only cuts costs but also mitigates risks associated with geopolitical shifts and export restrictions, fostering a more self-reliant defense ecosystem. The project promises to boost local employment and innovation, with operational versions expected within the next 24-30 months, potentially positioning Hyderabad as a key location for aerospace and defense training technologies.
