Simplex Castings Limited has secured a significant order worth Rs. 4.30 crore from the Ministry of Defence through Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders for high-precision propulsion castings to be used in six vessels. This order not only reflects the company’s expertise in specialized defence manufacturing but also marks a pivotal development in its portfolio, demonstrating the increasing reliance on domestic suppliers in India’s defense sector. The company has shown remarkable financial growth, reporting an 88.60 percent increase in revenue for Q2 FY26 compared to the previous year, and a robust rise in net profit by 53.30 percent, underscoring its vital role in supporting the defense manufacturing capabilities of the nation.
