Saab launches Nimbrix, a cost-effective Counter-UAS missile.
Saab has unveiled the Nimbrix, its inaugural dedicated Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) missile designed to counter the escalating threat of small drones on the battlefield. This fire-and-forget missile features a target seeker, a hard-kill warhead with an air-burst mode, and a range of up to 5 km, all while maintaining cost-effectiveness for widespread deployment. It operates as a ground-based system, adaptable for various vehicles or fixed setups. Saab anticipates initial deliveries in 2026 and will showcase Nimbrix at DSEI in London in 2025, emphasizing its commitment to enhancing air defense capabilities in response to evolving threats.
