Punjab Unveils Baaz Akh Anti-Drone System to Curb Smuggling
Punjab has launched a pioneering anti-drone system, named Baaz Akh, to combat cross-border smuggling of drugs and weapons from Pakistan. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, introduced this initiative in Tarn Taran, marking Punjab as the first state to deploy such a system at its borders. The anti-drone technology will serve as a second line of defense in coordination with the Border Security Force, enhancing efforts to maintain peace and support the government’s anti-drug drive. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to eradicate the drug menace that heavily impacts the state.
