Northern Command and Tata Motors Launch Advanced StrikeOne Logistics Platform
The Indian Army’s Northern Command, in collaboration with Tata Motors, unveiled the StrikeOne logistics platform on October 22, significantly advancing India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. This cutting-edge, vehicle-based solution, derived from the Yodha 2.0 pickup truck, boasts a 2-ton payload capacity and is engineered for high-altitude operations, enhancing troop mobility and rapid response capabilities. With design modifications for increased protection and versatility, the StrikeOne can adapt mid-mission for varying roles. The initiative not only ensures reliable, indigenized logistics support but also promotes economic benefits within the defense corridor in Jammu and Kashmir, underscoring the commitment to self-reliance in defense manufacturing. This development reflects India’s strategic push towards modernization and enhancing operational capabilities in challenging terrains.
