During Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi’s visit to Brazil from December 9 to 12, a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indian Navy, the Brazilian Navy, and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) to facilitate information exchange on the maintenance of Scorpene-class submarines and other naval vessels. This visit aimed at bolstering maritime cooperation and defense industry collaboration, included high-level discussions with senior Brazilian officials, including the Defence Minister.
