Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL) has officially begun contract negotiations with the Indian Navy for the P75(I) project, involving the construction of six advanced conventional submarines utilizing Air Independent Propulsion systems with support from ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems.
