The Indian Army is set to issue a significant tender worth 30,000 crore for the procurement of Quick Reaction Surface-To-Air Missiles (QRSAM) systems, with Bharat Electronics Ltd. (BEL) anticipated to be the lead integrator. The Army plans to acquire five to six regiments of the indigenously developed Anant Shastra missile systems, following the Defense Acquisition Council’s approval post-Operation Sindoor. Companies like Bharat Dynamics, Apollo Micro, and Astra Micro are expected to play crucial roles in manufacturing and supplying subsystems, potentially boosting their respective order books substantially.
