ISRO is developing a rocket as tall as a 40-storey building capable of launching satellites weighing 75,000 kg into low earth orbit, according to Chairman V Narayanan. This ambitious project is part of a broader plan that includes the launch of the Technology Demonstration Satellite (TDS) and the GSAT-7R military communication satellite for the Indian Navy. With the current fleet of 55 satellites expected to triple in the next few years, India’s advancements in space technology highlight its growing capabilities in both commercial and defense sectors, solidifying its position as a key player in global space endeavors.
