The Indian Navy is set to enhance its maritime capabilities by equipping its entire fleet with BrahMos supersonic missiles by 2030, reinforcing India’s strategic position in the Indo-Pacific region. This initiative includes the recent induction of two stealth-guided missile frigates, bringing the total to 14 such vessels, all armed with BrahMos missiles. By 2030, the Navy plans to expand to 20 BrahMos-capable stealth frigates, significantly boosting its offensive and defensive capabilities.
