The Indian Army has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Technological University (DTU) to foster innovation in critical areas such as Defence Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Cyber Security, Geoinformatics, and Data Analytics. Announced on Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s birthday, this partnership aims to enhance India’s self-reliance (Atmanirbhar Bharat) and support the nation’s transformative goals. By focusing on research and development, the MoU also prioritizes training and upskilling of soldiers, thereby blending operational expertise with academic knowledge. This collaboration is significant as it seeks to build resilient forces ready to address emerging security challenges, reinforcing India’s commitment to advancing its defense capabilities and technological prowess.
