India is set to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) worth Rs. 30,000 crore for Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) drones, signaling a strategic shift towards advanced drone warfare capabilities. This initiative, part of a larger defense spending plan aiming for Rs. 2.09 lakh crore this year, emphasizes domestic production, with 75% of the budget earmarked for local industries.
