IIT Delhi and Indian Navy collaborate on crew-centric warship design.

In a significant advancement for India’s defense innovation, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, and the Indian Navy have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance crew-centric warship design. This collaboration aims to foster joint research, promote indigenous technology, and improve the quality of life on naval vessels through scientific design interventions. Rear Admiral Arvind Rawal emphasized the importance of merging combat readiness with crew comfort, while Prof. Rangan Banerjee highlighted the use of advanced design tools.
