The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to enhance its camouflage, concealment, and deception (CCD) capabilities by acquiring 400 inflatable decoys designed to mimic the radar and thermal signatures of various fighter and air defense systems. These decoys, capable of withstanding diverse climatic conditions, will confuse enemy targeting efforts, compel adversaries to expend munitions on false targets, and preserve IAF’s genuine combat assets during high-intensity conflicts.
