Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS), in collaboration with the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM), will host Brainstorming Session 2.0 on November 14, 2025, at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi. The event will be addressed by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan and other senior officials, focusing on the theme of leveraging the defence industry ecosystem for future warfare. Key discussions will revolve around critical areas such as ammunition and explosives, autonomous systems, and research and development in advanced technologies. This session aims to bring together diverse stakeholders from the national security and defence sectors, enabling them to confront priority challenges, identify growth opportunities, and formulate actionable plans. The outcomes are expected to bolster Aatmanirbharta, enhance India’s leadership in future warfare capabilities, and significantly improve operational preparedness and industry capabilities in the defence landscape.
