GTRE Confirms RSPA UCAV Specs: Mach 0.9, 35,000 ft Altitude
India’s Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) has confirmed the specifications for its upcoming Stealth Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV), the Robotic Stealth Precision Attack (RSPA), designed for precision strikes and reconnaissance. Powered by the indigenously developed Kaveri Derivative Engine (KDE), the RSPA can achieve speeds of Mach 0.9 and altitudes of 35,000 feet. This 13-ton platform, with a range exceeding 1,600 nautical miles, is poised to enhance the Indian Air Force’s capabilities significantly. The stealth features and autonomous operations make the RSPA a strategic asset, reducing risks to human pilots while effectively countering advanced adversary air defenses, thereby solidifying India’s position in modern aerial warfare.
