Garuda Aerospace launches five defense drones in Chennai

Garuda Aerospace launched five new defense drones at its facility in Chennai, enhancing India’s defense and disaster response capabilities. The drones serve various purposes, including high-altitude rescue and tactical operations, aligning with the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision of self-reliance in defense technology. Union Minister Sanjay Seth emphasized the importance of indigenous innovation, announcing a Defence Drone Lab and free pilot certification for soldiers. The establishment of a 76-acre Defence Park in Tamil Nadu aims to further bolster India’s capabilities in AI-powered drone systems, ensuring the country remains at the forefront of future drone warfare and global innovation in defense technologies.
