France is currently evaluating India’s Pinaka Multi-Barrel Rocket Launcher for potential procurement, indicating a notable shift in the defense dynamics between the two nations. Brigadier General Stephane Richou highlighted France’s need for such capabilities, as the Pinaka system, developed by India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation, demonstrated effective operational use during the Kargil War. With a range of up to 90 kilometers, the system has already garnered interest from other nations, following a successful demonstration to a French delegation in India.
