UAE’s EDGE Group advanced its strategic partnership with India by launching localized manufacturing of its HUNTER loitering munitions, including intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), naval, and aerial strike variants, in alignment with India’s Make in India initiative. This move builds on an agreement with Adani Defence & Aerospace, signed in June 2024, which set the foundation for joint development, production, and export of advanced unmanned systems and weapons. The collaboration aims to leverage India’s robust manufacturing base, establishing the country as a regional hub for cutting-edge defense technologies, while contributing to job creation, technology transfer, and bolstering India’s status in the global unmanned systems market.
