DRDO Unveils Next-Generation Digital Active Phased Array Radar

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully developed the next-generation Digital Active Phased Array (DAPA) Radar, enhancing India’s indigenous radar technology capabilities. This advanced 4D radar is designed for comprehensive aerial surveillance and target tracking, featuring an impressive detection range of approximately 200 km and operational flexibility for various missions including air defense and tactical operations. With enhanced electronic counter-countermeasures and modular architecture, the DAPA Radar is set to significantly improve India’s situational awareness and operational readiness against aerial threats, reinforcing India’s defense infrastructure and technological self-reliance.
