DRDO and France's DGA sign agreement to boost defense R&D collaboration.
The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) of India has formalized a Technical Agreement with the Directorate General of Armaments (DGA) of France to enhance collaboration in defense research and development. Signed on November 20, 2025, in New Delhi by DRDO Chairman Dr. Samir V Kamat and Lt. Gen. Gael Diaz de Tuesta of DGA, this strategic partnership aims to harness the strengths and resources of both nations to address future defense challenges. The agreement establishes a framework for joint research, training programs, testing activities, and knowledge exchange in critical areas, including aeronautics, unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, cyber security, and quantum technologies. Both parties expressed optimism that this collaboration will bolster national security and contribute to advancements in global defense technology, underlining the importance of international partnerships in enhancing defense capabilities.
