Deutsche Aircraft and Indian partners launch roadmap to boost regional aviation connectivity.
Deutsche Aircraft, in partnership with key Indian firms including Aerospace India Association, Cyient, Dynamatic Technologies, and SASMOS HET, unveiled a strategic roadmap to boost regional aviation connectivity at the Wings of Opportunity Summit on 5 November 2025 in New Delhi. Central to this initiative is the D328eco, a 40-seat turboprop designed specifically for India’s regional routes under the government’s UDAN scheme, featuring sustainable aviation fuel compatibility and optimum performance for low-density, challenging terrains. The summit emphasized five themes: expanding access to underserved regions, sustainable aviation, fleet modernization, collaborative manufacturing under Make in India, and infrastructure investment. This Indo-German collaboration aims to modernize India’s regional fleet, enhance sustainable aviation technologies, and position India as a critical hub in global aerospace manufacturing and innovation, reinforcing strategic aviation security and connectivity ambitions crucial for economic growth and regional integration. The initiative aligns with India’s expanding aviation market and national connectivity goals.
