Delhi's Electro Magnetic Board emphasizes joint electronic warfare strategies for armed forces.

The Joint Electro Magnetic Board (JEMB) convened its annual meeting in New Delhi on November 20, 2025, under the chairmanship of Air Marshal Rakesh Sinha, Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Operations). The meeting, attended by senior officers from all three Services, focused on deepening jointness and integration in Electronic Warfare, spectrum management, and emerging technologies. Key highlights included the demonstration of the Electromagnetic Battlespace Management System for tactical battlefield spectrum exploitation and the release of the Technical News Letter (TNL) 2025, outlining future technologies poised to transform modern warfare. Air Marshal Sinha emphasized the importance of joint operations, citing lessons from recent exercises like Operation Sindoor, and lauded progress in niche technology domains driven by Defence PSUs, industry, and academia, reinforcing India’s push for self-reliance in defence.
