The Border Security Force (BSF) has inaugurated a new command centre named the Decision Support System (DSS) at its headquarters, aimed at bolstering India’s border security with Pakistan and Bangladesh. This advanced command and control system utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and geographic information systems (GIS) to enhance decision-making capabilities for commanders. The DSS will integrate various data sources, enabling predictive analysis to identify smuggling hotspots and infiltration routes while improving resource allocation.
