Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and PTC Industries Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 19, 2025, to form a joint venture for the design, development, and manufacture of propulsion systems, guided bombs, and aero-engines for missiles, UAVs, and loitering munitions. The MoU was exchanged at the Lokarpan Ceremony of PTC’s Titanium and Superalloys Materials Plant in Lucknow, in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This partnership aims to enhance India’s domestic defense manufacturing capabilities by reducing dependence on foreign suppliers and supporting the Make in India initiative. The joint venture will focus on liquid and solid rocket motors, ramjet, and turbojet engines, combining BDL’s systems expertise with PTC’s precision engineering to boost indigenous production aligned with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision.
