Anadrone launches ABHAY MRC UAV, enhancing India's tri-services combat versatility.
Gurgaon-based Anadrone Systems has launched the ABHAY Multi-Role Capability (MRC) UAV, designed for rapid deployment and multi-mission versatility across India’s Army, Navy, and Air Force. This indigenous platform, with over 80% local content, features Beyond Line of Sight communications, anti-jamming GPS, and a modular payload bay allowing swift role changes from reconnaissance to strike. The ABHAY supports advanced electronic warfare with active jamming, chaff dispensers, and adaptive radar cross-section modulation, enabling it to deceive and saturate enemy radar systems effectively. Its swarming capability allows coordinated group operations to overwhelm air defenses, while its endurance exceeds one hour with a range of over 500 kilometers and operational ceilings above 30,000 feet. These cutting-edge features enhance India’s Suppression of Enemy Air Defence missions and underscore the nation’s strides in self-reliance under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The ABHAY platform strengthens India’s tri-service combat versatility and bolsters its position as a UAV exporter in the evolving global defense market.
