AMSL secures over Rs 100 crore in new defense orders for UAS.

Apollo Micro Systems Ltd (AMSL) has secured new defense orders exceeding Rs 100 crore for the supply of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to the Ministry of Defence, set to be executed within four months. This order, part of AMSL’s ongoing business operations, has positively impacted its stock, which surged by 5% to reach an intraday high of Rs 275. With a substantial order book totaling Rs 7,850 crore, AMSL stands out as a leading player in the Indian defense sector, particularly noted for its involvement in indigenous DRDO missile programs and its robust in-house R&D capabilities. The company has demonstrated impressive financial growth, reporting a year-on-year revenue increase of 39% and net profit growth of 106% for Q2FY26, showcasing its strong market position and potential for continued success in India’s defense industry. This development underscores the increasing reliance on domestic firms to bolster India’s defense capabilities, aligning with the government’s initiatives to enhance indigenous defense production and reduce dependency on foreign imports.
