National cyber security training for police officers at UPSIFS.
The Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science (UPSIFS) in Lucknow will host a national-level training program on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics from November 10 to 14, in collaboration with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C). This initiative, attended by 40 police officers from various states, aims to enhance India’s cybercrime detection and digital forensic capabilities. The training will cover vital topics such as cybercrime trends, digital evidence management, and emerging technologies. This program reflects a concerted effort to bolster law enforcement’s preparedness against increasing cyber threats, thus significantly strengthening national cybersecurity resilience.
