The Department of Financial Services under the Finance Ministry has launched the National Cyber Awareness campaign, highlighting the importance of cybersecurity education for building a resilient fintech ecosystem. The inaugural workshop, part of the National Cybersecurity Awareness month, was attended by over 150 participants, including stakeholders, women entrepreneurs, and students. Secretary M Nagaraju emphasized the need for capacity building in cybersecurity, reflecting a proactive approach in protecting India’s financial sectors against cyber threats. The launch of a cybersecurity awareness comic toolkit demonstrates an innovative strategy to engage diverse audiences in understanding cyber risks, reinforcing the significance of collective efforts in enhancing national security amidst growing digital vulnerabilities.
