Punjab teen detained for espionage, sharing military data with Pakistan.

A 15-year-old boy from Pathankot, Punjab, has been detained for allegedly spying and sharing sensitive military information with handlers associated with Pakistan’s ISI via social media. The police discovered that he had been providing critical data for nearly a year, including images of military sites, and identified psychological vulnerabilities linked to a belief that his father had been murdered. Investigations suggest he was not acting alone, raising concerns among Indian security agencies about a potential trend of recruiting minors for espionage activities, which poses a significant security risk. Authorities have issued statewide alerts to identify other children who may also be targeted by Pakistani operatives.
